Diane Kruger

Damn, I guess I'm one of the few liking this. I could have done without the green ring and the sloppy hair but the rest is nice.

I wonder what it looked like in motion, I can imagine it looking pretty great with the slit and all.

i'm with ya. i love this look. i agree with the rest of your comment too.

I'm not a big fan of her relationship with Calvin Klein in general. It almost feels like she's dressing as someone other than herself. I actually liked the crop top but I can't find anything I like about the yellow dress. I didn't like the white dress she wore for the met gala either. I prefer when she wears Chanel or Jason Wu or brands that we never expect her to wear.

Diane Kruger has just signed on to star in the new FX pilot The Bridge!

The 36-year-old actress will play the role of El Paso Police Homicide Detective Sonya North, who works with an agent from Mexico to take on a serial killer operating along the US-Mexico border, according to Deadline.

Gerardo Naranjo is set to direct the adaptation of the Scandinavian series Bron/Broen.

This will be Diane‘s U.S. television series debut!

I'm glad that she's doing a cable network television show. I know that sounds kind of pretentious, but I feel that the best shows on TV at the moment are on HBO, FX, AMC and Showtime.

But honestly, I'm kind of surprised that she's doing TV. Though television seems to be experiencing a renaissance at the moment.

So it sort of sounds like The Killing, a plot without a long life-span. I can't say I'm thrilled to hear she took this...

eh, she should have just stuck with movies in my opinion but whatever. clearly her management feels this is the best route for her...

^I think that's the reason as well. she's getting to the age where there probably aren't many quality offers coming her way, so this might be a way to show off her acting to put her back in a place where she can get offered more film roles. it's not a bad thing though. TV shows are in a really good place right now quality wise - she could transition this into better film roles if she plays her cards right.

I think is probably also why she has been making more french films than american ones lately.

i know this might sound harsh, but really, i don't think her movie career ever hit the right route in the US (i'm a fan of hers style and attitude wise but seriously, apart from the treasure and troy movies..?). if she didn't have such good style and wasn't a good model i really don't think anyone would know about her. i think she might've even been lucky to get a pilot going and i hope the series does well for her and her career.
