I just never get tired of black. Here are some things for fall o4 I thought were cool:

Branquinho

Conran- I ussualy do not like the too short pans but it looks cool here.

:flower: Anybody feel free to post your fav men in black fall 04 mens pics.

Ok , now the first two look brown, they looked black when I found them.
Anybody know the truth about VB's stuff here?

Did you know that black is one of the hardest dye colors to make.Getting the right color of black is a very time consuming process. You can rarely find two pieces that match exactly, it can have base colors of red, blue,
and green among others. which is Ok if everything hss the same base color but Jill Sanders black pant will not look like Langs black shirt. If you have much black in your closet you know what I mean.

Here cooome the meeen in blaaaaaack! Galaxy defenders!

Here coooome the mennn in blaaack! They won't let you remember!

heh, I know what you mean.

Most of that VB's stuff is not black-black, except for the leather jacket. Her stuff is not an easy fit, I think she should adress that.

It's hard not to love black, because it's so flattering and misterious. However, lately I got very tired of an all-black look on a man. In large you can thank the terribly-dressed-but-trying-to-look-expensive Russian immigrants for my aversion (Sugo knows what I'm talking about). Lately I love black and dark blue denim, and black top/white pants contrast.

agreed!!!
but...you really can't compare the black leather from Matsushima and the generic, poorly fitting black leather that every guy down Sheepshead Bay owns.
Although if you see any of our fellow immigrants dressed in any of the looks posted....um...you can send them my way ;).

PS I am a huge fan of all black looks only if the clothing is very very structured!

 I will. Ditto on your P.S. Hence my love for Ann Dem - noone can do black like she can.

Also agree here. I actually love the black and white combos. I almost made the thread black and white exclusively. Also thought of doing a winter white thread which i love but is not practicle.

But yeah cheap all black is bad. I remember a friend of mine , that happens to be a bouncer for a bar on the lower east side, once looked at me and earnestly said " WHo made those little stretch black pants ( the poly ones it seems every chick in her teens and early 20's wears , very cheap)?
They must have made a lot of money!" I actually laughed for about 10 minutes. My reply was
"Who did not make them."

nice thread...thanks clay...i will add my contributions...in a bit...

i also love blk with a slate grey or heather grey or dove grey...
black is SEXY...!!!

i also love all black but mixed textures...
in other words...
