Dion Lee F/W 2021.22 New York

I see a lot of David Koma's Mugler in this collection. I do not dislike it personally but it's far from original...

This collection is just stupid. Dion had gone too far in his rave-inspired lifestyle, that's why we got a bunch of bad ideas here. They don't make any sense and they're not sexy.

The leather looks painfully stiff and the overuse of random cut outs and stretch fabrics make me think that he's totally devoid of ideas.

Normally I kinda love some parts of his collections, elevated bodycon dressing.
But this is TRASH.
It looks like DollsKill stuff.

S&M/hooker-ish/cheap and subversive style works on cool NYC kids from the rave scene.
It doesn't work on a runway with super high prices. It doesn't feel authentic.

Somebody should tell him that whatever he's doing just simply isn't working. In the eternal words of another Dionne, that's what friends are for.

I only like the cutout top bc I want to show off my chest. But I could literally do that myself, Im not sure why I havent now that Im thinkingn about it.
