Dior Detective Bags (spring 2005)

Christian Dior whipped editors into a frenzy at its spring runway presentation with its new top-handle Detective bags. They are available in cream, red and black and are inspired by Seventies and Eighties murder mystery shows. They range in retail price from $1,440 to $2,790.

that's what i love most about the big ones...they're so BIG!
i'd love to have one in red or black... maybe even in a bigger size than the ones on the runway, to actually use as a luggage piece

I'm sorry, no actually I'm not, there is no way you can go wrong with Dior, monogram or not. I love them.

If you took the logo charms off, this would be such a boring ugly bag. Looks like any vintage doctor's bag you could find at a resale shop/thrift store. Just goes to show that Dior can make the ugliest thing and it will be hyped to death in the biased press.

i like it, i find the shape to be beautiful...because its similar to a doctors type bag prada did a while back..but the lines are rounder & softer. i thinks its very pretty. as for the logo charm things, they dont bother me so much because they almost blend in as buckles...i dont know, i dont think its bad at all

aww i think the last red one is very cute... although i don't really like the C and D, it doesn't look that bad cuz, as prada said, they blend in pretty well

I dont particularly hate these bags at all...better than the Dior saddle bags in my opinion.

the bags are just sooo cute! i love everything about it.. the shape, the texture, the colors, even the dangling C & D! it's quite expensive though.. waaay beyond my budget

Not terrible, but I do hope they stop with all the "CD" stuff sometime soon. Although I know they never will, and it'll probably just get worse...
