I really like the gaucho alot. A friend of mine has the red tote, and I think it looks so amazing.

I think I'll be getting mine from NM so I can get both colors and then decide, its good to hear they are cleaner though.

I got the white gaucho tote today at Holt Renfrew. It is incredible! If you like a big, heavy, soft, wonderful bag, then I highly recomend it to all!

They are selling the medium single Gaucho bag in leather, handbraided finsihing bag in Taiwan. They have got the color for white and black also better constructed!

The one on Bloor St. The first floor's bag section now has a section dedicated to Dior, which it only got last November. It's right between Louis Vuitton and Fendi haha

i started to like the gaucho, but i'm over it now. seems too trendy and it's not really elegant. maybe if they clean up the design a LOT...

My Gaucho (super dark olive/almost brownish color) is the biggest mistake I ever bought this year.

Hiya!

Here's what I think about the Gaucho:

1) I got the large, shoulder version.


2) The leather is buttery soft but all the hardware is making it 'heavy'


3) It's not a bag that you can use every day. The first "flap" can hold a typical french wallet, a small cellphone and maybe a tube of lip gloss. The 2nd flap can hold some more items like a pack of cigarettes, lighter, pda, whatever. Be careful though because it looks really weird AND bulky if you put too much stuff in it

4) I don't think it's 'user-friendly'. Too many flaps, zips, etc. It's hassle!!!!

5)I made a mistake in the color. If I can turn back time, I won't get this bag. If I were to really really really get one, I would've chosen white. Finding clothes (and shoes) to match the bag is a hassle!! I've only used this bag twice or thrice -- all of them to run errands. HAHAHA.

6) The leather is distressed. Part of the S/S style. It's all cool and good. When I first got the bag, my mom asked me where on earth did I get this filth and why did I stole the mailman/postman's bag.

Go figure.

I'm sure there are people out here who love the Gaucho. But IMO, it's an overrated (and overpriced.. i paid $1,995) piece of garb.
Dior's really gone downhill these days. Back in my "hey day" I used to go gaga on everything that has the DEEYOR label on it. Ugh!

hmm, I admit I don't love the double much, the side view looks kind of weird. Mine is the medium, and it's quite practical. Are you THE bryanboy?
