Dior Homme Dermo System

 i still say no to using skincare from a fashion house. its full of fragrance.
the marketing is fabulous, i love hedi slimane boys but. no, no, no.
dont use "designer skincare"

for the people who want to waste their money its available at saks.

I'm sitting here with the newest edition of Euroman. There's an ad in the "Grooming" section which speaks upon the products from Dior. They're sold exclusively to Magasin. Not expensive at all (depending on which brand you compare it to of course). The packaging looks quite nice but it's what's inside that counts and I have to agree with Luna Minor on this one: Skincare products from a fashion house usually contain a significant amount of fragrance. Just take a look at Hugo Boss' equivalent - I've tried it. It's crap for my skin.

I swear to my Decleor Homme series.

Ali.

Any specific price points?

Please note that the currency is in € (converted from DKK)

40.26 for the Eye Serum (1.8ml)
78.51 for the Revitalizing Serum (50ml)
40.26 Reparing Most. Emulsion (50ml)
40.26 Soothing Rev. Lotion (100ml)

According to the text a face masque and a face wash will be launched later on.

All prices incl. Danish VAT

Given our ridiculously high VAT in DK the price in the USA (and everywhere else for that matter), will probably be somewhat cheaper.

Source? It's not stated on Dior's website
i was going to ask as well but didnt think i'd receive a response. i dont believe its fragrance-free.

Alright, their new skin care range isn't fragrance-free, although they've kept the fragrance to a minimal.

...minimal, schminimal...it's still fragrance.

The price is less than I thought it be, but still kind of up there.

i dont think its fragrance free. hello its Dior, they put fragrance that smells like "fragrance free"

 generally just like other products, it'll work for some and won't for others. but i'm curious about this (since i also happen to like some of their fragrances).

The packaging is meant to appeal to a design-sensitive crowd, reflecting Slimane's exacting sense of proportion. The dimensions of each pump-style bottle are carefully calculated for a balance between height and circumference. Linear ridges or pleats, a signature feature of Dior Homme leather goods, are echoed on the containers.

(For starters: I hope the ingredients in these products had as much attention paid to them as the aethestics had.)

 I don't care if the skincare packaging sings to me while I open it. If it's just like the regular 20$ crap you can buy at Walgreens, what's the point?

Personally, I make sure all of my masks and treatments are all natural and organic.

Btw, I looked up, "B-Ecdysone," and it's not like a complex extract or anything. It's something Dior patented. For all we know it could be mediocre at best and rubbing grapes all over your face could be much more beneficial (studies have shown that grape extracts are fabulous for skin, anyway). A lot of times companies will use fancy names that sound like something that came out of a NASA laboratory for a wow factor.

If anyone works for Dior on TFS, I invite them to tell me about the ingredients, doctors, and other helpful information explaining what went into this.

I have no problem buying the clothes, but, what is beginning to sound like impractical (dare I call it, pompous?) skincare is making me keel over in laughter.

Have fun, kids.

I got the face lotion, face cleanser and eye cream. They were out of the rest of the line.

I like the outer packaging, but what do the containers for the products themselves look like? Can you please take pics? I am a sucker. Thanks.

No, not really. It contains fragrance. But if your skin is fine with that then it's not a problem

Okay I guess actually using it and "smelling" it that I don't see it having a fragrance.

Of course there is going to be some scent when you mix a bunch of chemicals and ingridents; but, as for a perfume scent, I do not detect anything.
