Dirt Cheap Designer Scores

When it comes to the designer items I want - I hardly ever pay retail - Unless its something I obsess over.

However, I am probably the luckiest person at finding expensive items for very inexpensive - whether it be a clearance sale, thrift, consignment, gift, whatever.

Now I know what some people are thinking - that its stupid to buy something just because it is a cheap designer item - but its not like that for me. I think I'm just really lucky when it comes to shopping.

So please post photos of designer/luxury items which cost you significantly less than retail - and I'm not talking about something simply on a 20% off sale.

So as far as I know there is no thread exactly like this. The Bargain Hunting forum is more for stores/designers that are always inexpensive.

The Dior Outlet in Woodbury Commons sells Dior Homme pieces and accessories now too. I don't pay retail either. Most of my nicer pieces are from Century 21 and outlet stores, vintage and thrift.

stopped by the Ralph Lauren outlet at Clinton Corners on our way back from RI...stocked up on... soft as baby's bum sheets, cushy towels, lots of shirts for my husband, and a belt that I wanted from the mens line...its a black o-ring. they have some serious bargains there.

This is definitely the kind of shopping I like to do...scoring designer clothes for relatively dirt cheap prices...in fact, this is the only way I shop! I can't bring myself to pay full price knowing that I can probably find it for a lot cheaper in a discount store or thrift shop. Sometimes it takes a year or two to find it again, but it makes obtaining it that much sweeter if it turns up and at a better price!

that rocks =) do you have a photo? if not - please describe - as Prada shoes hardly ever fail. (at least womens). The men's - I'm not too sure. lol

Best deal I've ever gotten was my Balenciaga suit jacket from ss07 that I got earlier this year.
Retail was over $1600, and I got it for just over $300 + tax. I love it.

okay, sorry but no prada flat pictures are forthcoming. i decided to return them, even though they were a great bargain. they kept slipping off my heel.

and i love nordstrom rack. i went again this past weekend and was surprised to find all new things from a few weeks ago. i guess they get shipments in fairly regularly..? (psst...aldn, any tips for finding the really good deals at your store??)
