I do..when I'm tired, sleep too much, sleep too little or cry, i get a triple eyelid on one eye and then my eyes are disporportioned!! Does this happen to anyone and if so, how can I fix it? It's especially really annoying when I have a special event that day.

hahah this is such a funny topic but i have quite large eyes and so this does happen to me sometimes where i wake up and my one eyelid is a bit funny....unfortunately I don't have a solution to this....sometimes taking a shower helps but it just goes away gradually throughout the day

That´s because the eyes get a lot of fluid retention when we cry etc.
Sleep with a bigger pillow or use icy water pads on the eye area.

 Yes, this happens to me, too. For all the same reasons hollabackgirl posted, plus the dreaded hangover :ninja: Luckily, not too often though :D

Funny this should come up because I just got the best gift from a friend. It's a cooling eye pack which doesn't require refrigeration or freezing and I think the packaging is hilarious!! Hangover, of course, not required

Yes, I call it "pig eyes." It's water retention and it goes away after a bit (for me anyway)--I don't put my eye makeup on till it does, because that somehow seems to "fix" the look in place. Haven't had it happen in a long time ... [knocks on wood]

I do i get a droopey eyelid when i am sleepy and a black shaddow over one of them (a werid birth mark that only shows up when im tired its a greyish balck pressure mark)
They also go more slitty .. i have alomond shaped eyes.

wow really didn't know many people have this problem .Again I've learnt something new here today

It´s not really a problem it´s just something that happens! :P

Try crying for half an hour and then go to sleep, it will happen to you too! :D

well funny thing is 50% of the time, it goes away after i wash my face...and 50% it doesn't. luckily yesterday's eyelid surprise has not gone away yet..it really just looks like I have a bigger eyelid on one eye than the other - if only there was some way to make BOTH eyes puffed up or neither!

No.... but my friend goes on about it ALLLLLLLL DAY LONG when it happens.

9am - "Can you see my eyelid?"
10.30 - "Is it really obvious? I tried to poke it but it wont work"
12.50 - "What does it look like now?"
12.51 - "What about now?"
12.52 - "Now?"
All the time - "I wan't to go home now! Does it look the same?"

"I can't even see it, it's just an eyelid."

Yeah, that happens to me when my eyes are dried out. Sometimes I wake up with no eyelids on both eyes, one huge one and one little one, two huge ones, or four lids on both eyes. Lol.

Sometimes my eyelids are really swollen (without crying) when I wake up, gives me sort of cat-esque eyes. And once I woke up with a strange crease in the lid that I attacked with moustourizer until it was gone.

I have Chinese eyes so waking up with an extra eyelid is a bit of a bonus. It usually happens when I pull all-night study session and wake up having dozed off on top of my laptop. I kind of rub my eyes a lot anyway and sometimes that creates an eyelid as well. Weird....but hey I'm not complaining!

When I cry, i wake up with big, beautiful eyelids...

When I was younger, I would sometime wake up with a missing eyelid..... but it's been years since it last happened.....

This is a very baffling thread. I am getting the feeling that one must get having gone to the wrong room for an AA discussion and landing up in an alien abduction meeting instead.

I get those all the time, especially when I don't get enough sleep. It makes my face look unproportional because one eye looks bigger than the other. Sometimes rubbing them works. Sometimes when I roll my eyes, it goes away, but only until I blink.

When I cry really hard the night before, I wake up with such painful, puffy eyelids that seem to swallow up my eyes!!! I put refridgerated spoons on them...I dunno if it works or not...it's just soothing, lol. That's why I always try not to cry too hard....haha!
