Well, I have a "WORST" thread in the makeup forum (about foundation) so I thought I would start one here.

The worst moisturizer I have used is Pond's "mend and defend." It was so horrible. It was soo shiny, even a little bit was intolerable:sick: . Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever try this one, EVER. Another one was Olay's age defying eye gel. It was way too sticky to use (eg, help mom!! I can't blink!! my eyes are glued open!!! This was very dissapointing given the fact that I love olay's products. Oh, and their regenerist line is a bit too hyped up.

Oh, oh, oh!! and neutrogena oil free moisture. Umm, where is the moisture in this product:huh: ? It is so inneffective!

Okay, enough about me!! What was your worst moisturizer experiance ever?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yes, Ponds is by far the worst. I also didn't like Lancome's moisturizer. It claims to control oil and yet it's sooo greasy on the skin.

The worst I've used is Korres Pomegranate moisturizer for combo skin.

Even though it smelled fabulous, it was waayyyy too oily and shiny for anyone with combo skin. Plus, it didn't do anything to even out my skin tone. Waste of time and money. Now I just use it to moisturize my feet ;)

Biotherm! The SA's there were using the lotion from there and I've never seen so many zits. Then I should have learned but I bought one for myself and I broke out everywhere I was an oil slick.

SA's break me out horribly too. I much prefer AHA's, but am currently too mbroke to my them. Yeah, I know, poor me, boo hoo!

lol it's funny someone mentioned neutrogena oil-free moisture...that's what i use. i guess different skin types react to different things.

gawh there have been so many horrid moisturizers i've tried.

ermm.... Neutrogena gave me a rash.

i tried a Biotherm once - it felt nice - but really didn't do a thing and was way expensive.

hmm.. just really too many bad ones to choose from.

i would have to say clinique's 3 step moisturiser, the yellow one. my face looked like i have rashes all over.

.

I use biotherm and its eliminated my dry skin permanently and lasts 24 hours. it wasn't that expensive either

Anyway, my worst so far is Dermalogica. Made my skin actually flare up and go red

Okay, update: I've been using Givenchy Power Youth. At first I thought it was great because it isn't too heavy, it doesn't make my skin greasy (I have combo skin) and the price is right.

Unfortunately, I just got a blackhead yesterday and the only major change I've made recently was the Power Youth.

A blackhead is a major no-no, so the Power Youth is going back to the store!

both Clinique's 3 Step skincare and Dermalogica products kill my skin. With the former, I get breakouts (same as toby). The latter ... the moment I applied the samples, my skin because red and had a stinging feeling (same as misssakura). I chucked it all away immediately. I don't know if there's such thing as skin care being to "harsh" for sensitive skin. If there is, then that's probably what happened.

Biotherm works fine for me. And so does Clarins.

Without a doubt, Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturiser. Urgh, its so greasy and did nothing for my skin except give me spots, despite the SA's insistance that "my skin would get used to it".

^ I agree too. I know it is their #1 seller, but I thought it was awful. Cetaphil and Clean and Clear are my faves.

Chanel's precision line. Whoa did I turn into a pizza face or what, mind you I'm 23 with combo skin

That Ole one that claims to fight the seven signs of ageing. Just horrid, feels like it puts a film over your skin to make it smooth but doesn't actually do any moisturising.

Loreal happyderm for dry/sensitive skin. OHH! god they say it's derma tested??? you've got too be joking. if it was it wouldn't make my skin blister and become so sore.

Tonnes of people complained about the happyderm dry sensitive skin moisturiser that it never ended up being restocked in some stores and pharmacys here.

but the happyderm for normal skin didn't break me out :?
but i do have dry skin so...
