the WORST moisturizer you have ever used

St Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer made me break out like crazy. Clean and Clear Oxygenating Moisturizer burns like nothing else. I use Clean and Clear Morning Glow now and really like it. My only complaint is that the shimmer in it makes my skin look a little too shiny.

I have unusually good luck with moisterizers - my skin can take just about anything. However, I do have a complaint against Burt's Bees Milk and Honey Body Lotion. The label said that the product was safe for every part of your skin, including face, so I gave it a try. Though it didn't make me break out, it gave my face a strange texture to it that went away within a day. It's a fantastic hand moisterizer, however.
On another note, I adore the Clinique Moisterizer. It makes the skin on my face feel more quenched than any other product I've tried. Trash/treasure, I suppose.

Clinique's mosturizer the yellow one I HATE IT!!I stop useing it because it made me break-out. It took me a while to figure it out too.Frist i though it might be that the toner was too strong and was making my skin make more grease but no, i stopped using the mosturizer turned to cetaphil as a cleanser kept using the toner and olays complete care for mosturizere and my face is better.

Have been thinking on buying olays new moisturizer teh one that has the fake tan that bulids up the more you apply it it is supposed to not streak but i don't know if i beleve it.Any on u tried it or have any oppinions about it??

Another one to join in the bashing of Clinique here. That 3-step made my face oily, flakey and sticky. An SA i spoke to recently said that they changed the product now, but I am an anti-believer.

Not much for Biotherms AquaSource either, or for Dior Hydrosource or whevr their new generic moisturizer is called. None of these two are very bad, they are just nothing to me.

I use Biotherms Biopur prodocts or/and Shiseidos neutral moisturizer, they work for me.

I tried a friend's and I didn't notice any tanning effect. Only tried it once, though. The moisturizing effect is pretty typical.

thanks for the coments i went ahead and bought it, so far only used it once. And it i don't look tan but hopefully the color will build up.

Keihls also makes my face break out, alothough I swear they make the best toners.

:blink:lots of mixed opinions here i see. i guess everyone's skin reacts differently to different products. I think Biotherm works fine on me and it's not expensive at all for a dept store brand. They're make up is good too.

I love L'oreal Happyderm (but for combo? oily skin). It's not the best..but no breakouts or anything problematic.

Lancome's Aqua fusion stings when i apply it around my nose...it's not a bad moisturizer..but stinging is not a good sign.
Avon's Vitamin C moisturizer w/ SPF 15 with orange cap is the greasiest thing i've ever used. it's been sitting on my counter for a LONG time

for body moisturizers...Vaseline lotion for extra dry skin (in white) is not moisturizing at all. it's thick..byut it doesn't sink into my skin. the more i rub it in, i just get a white layer of dry lotion spreading outwards but not inwards =_=

Body Shop's. They smell heavenly, but theydo nothing, leave you slimey and eventually give you a headache from the mango-smell flowing around you.
I only like them cause of the smell. But other than that it does nothing.

L'Oreal Happyderm. As soon as I put it on my face was stinging like mad. I had to stand under the shower for ages to get the stinging to go away. Even washing my face wouldn't get rid of the stinging. Then after it finally stopped my face felt all burnt and was red for days. It was absolutely awful.

Yeah that Clinique "Mayo n' mustard" moisturizer is awful on my skin, Chanel as well.

lancome stress it makes me look like a grease and shiny lightbulb .
kisskiss modela

Elizabeth Arden's moisturizers - 'matte' and 'sensitive skin' have to be the most innefective. But they're the only ones I use.

It was one from L'Oréal for normal and combination skin. It was a light green cream in a jar. I tried to find the name of the moisturizer on the L'Oréal website but I couldn't. Anyway when I applied it it hurted/burned on my skin.

The regular Clinique Moisturizer is horrid.
But have you guys tried the gel, its marvelous

i use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisture Gel and i love it.. its not greasy at all and it makes my skin nice and soft.. funny that everyone hates it!
