There were things I loved and things I didn't so much. I liked a lot of the coats with the very dramatic collars, some of the dresses and draped skirts were beautiful as well.

I liked it quite a bit actually, although some of it reminded me of tom ford for YSL.

I thought it was funny on Style.com how they mentiond her breaking her leg in Utah, becuase my friend always geos to Donna's house in Utah for New Years.

mr dale while I agree with some of your coat selections...

take a look at any donna collection from 1985-89.
she was actually an innovator in ny fashion & modern womanly elegance.

donna has fallen farther than any other former big label except perry ellis.
even calvin, in all his ups & downs, has more interesting pieces in the 21st century than donna.

whatever innogvation & credibility she had oin the 80s has vbeen completely blown & shes as soulless as any famous designer. blah.

at this point her ads are more intertestimng than her clothes , see march W pull out.
in 80s she had brilliant ad campaigns with rosemary macrotha. now she has louise & luca but does almost nothing with those goddesses.

This coat reminds me a lot of what Marc Jacobs is doing right now...I Like it, by the way, I'm really interested in how some designers are playing with volume etc.

That could very well be true, but sadly enough I have never seen anything from her form before 2000, so I will have to trust on your word
