Oooh, so far I like it. Love that berry color and those silver gowns.

I like the first four looks. So chic! I would definately wear the fourth suit to work if I was older and had a job (with a shirt under of course...)

i find this horrible..

btw, please avoid double posting , always check before starting a new topic , merci :flower:

not keen on this - its quite dated looking. but not in a modern but retro referenced way...

To me, it seems to have a more mature whimsy to it, I'd venture to say that these looks would actually look great on Donna K. herself, her peers.

the whole theme of the collection is she is revisting her first collections of the eighties that made her a contender in the fashion frontline and this was mostly power dressing for women but still sexy and casual.

yeh, i don't really like this as much as her previous collections...wierd...

So I just saw the entire show. It was pretty bad. I find it sad that a designer that was once so accomplished in her own right needs to rip off others. I see a lot of nods to this fall's Balenciaga show--the white nylon dress Nicolas did, the balloon skirt (which arguably belongs to Cristobal). But anyway, even in a broader scope, this show was just tired. Maybe Donna needs to close up shop and retire.

Or maybe both Donna and Nicolas are ripping off the same vintage source! No one really knows these days.

The set makes the clothes look awful...and the colours are so bizarre...

I think she already did, when she sold her business to LVMH
