It's one of those collections, at least to me, that would work 100% on the right woman without too much effort. For some reason, DK has never struck me as a 'girly girl', there's something...hard edged about it, something a bit tricky and difficult...or maybe that's just a bunch of BS and the NYC collections are just disappointing all together. It's like none of the designers were happy this season so they push this girly feminine garbage with no kind of irony, no left of field sophistication, nothing, nothing, nothing. I'd much rather applaud for someone who worked so hard on their own stuff even if it were monstrous than these designers who constantly attempt to kowtow to Vogue magazine--not the buying public because they know they'll be influenced by the fashion rags anyway. Where's Patrik Rzepski when you need him?
