Wasnt she the first african american to appear on the cover harpers bazaar. And it wasnt even a photograph it was back when they did drawings.

^Actually they stopped the drawings by at least the mid/late '40s...but the rules changed in '65 for her cover. Anyhow,GREAT find 60swildchild!
