i think the l'oreal contract will be great exposure for her... a big cosmetics contract is a huge goal for many models since it brings in a ton of money, makes them household names and offers a sort of validation

AND, they can back off on running around the world all the time and doing every show there is to make a living! (and have an apartment they can sleep in sometimes and maybe a social life and so on...Big time models don't live as thrilling a life as it seems...! It's a lot of work!!huh: I remember reading that Paulina worked something like twenty days a year for the big cosmetics company she was exclusive to (name escapes me...)!!!

I couldn't agree more with you. I even think it will be only a matter of time before she signs a big exclusive deal with a big name designer, something like Natalia Vodianova did with Calvin Klein. We shouldn't forget that Natalia became very huge after the deal with L'Oreal. I really hope it will be the same with Doutzen. She definitely has the potential

hey, just question, why people consider cosmetic or skin care ads are holy grail in modelling industry, do a lot of model get it? for example, raquel got the YSL spring and summer, eugenia got the biotherm, but why people never mention about them and consider loreal and lancome are bigger?

^ I wouldnt say they are the holy grail but they do give alot of cash and exposure. usually they are an indication that a model has made it to the highest level as they rarely if ever use lesser known models as cosmetics are more mainstream. Thats my take on it.

I think this is her natural color eyebrows, seems to me dat models.com wanted to photograph her on a natural way...

It could be, but it would be strange.. Her eyebrows are more blond than her hair.

This is one of her first photoshoots. Even before she went to NY where these polaroids where shot. So I guess this color is her natural color.
