that´s the path she chose, I don´t like it, but the fact is that I will never like her work again because she won´t become to high fashion, she won´t do the same that she used to do 2 years ago, so basically I don´t care anymore.

back to VS because i have something i want to say i agree with 112fan and TGA and i am happy for her that she got these big contracts with VS, Loreal and CK Eternity, however i don't think anyone can argue that her work was far, far much better and visually stimulating when she got to work with Meisel, Testino etc. and the fact that she is with VS now isn't bad, it's just that when she does do occasional things that are of fashion it's nothing great! and the thing is the transition was so fast, it kind of all happened in the blink of an eye, i've only been on tFS for a year and i have watched her career do a completely 360 in a matter of months. it would be great to see her do great editorials OCCASIONALLY and still have all the fun she wants with Victoria's Secret. The last editorial Doutzen has done that i really loved was the Couture editorial shot by Karl Lagerfield and wasn't that like March of this year?

Anyway, i don't think anyone can say her career isn't going anywhere. maybe not in the direction you wish for it to, but it's definitely not going anywhere.

Very well said, Mchunu<3 Whatever she does, I still like her. And if making much money is not smth other people want her to do well, not that its gonna change anything lol. And if someone doesnt care why checking on her then. We are all here to support her.

And yes, that Lagerfeld ed was amazing. I do hope she'll occasionally come back to that stuff.

I look at it both ways, just as much as some complain about "too much commercial,victorias secret,etc..) there can also be too much high fashion that takes a girl no-where and no one ever hears of them again when their 15 mins is up. In Doutzen's case I am proud she did all that already and now she is just ready to conquer another part of the bizz, not a problem to me! I say leave the high fashion work to new girls who can actually get some exposure! Doutzen no longer needs that! (even more so now thats she's a VS angel!)

I still miss her on the runways though

Those pictures are insane. I hate to mindlessly gush but flawless doesn't even begin to describe her.

Re: her career. It's pretty clear she is a Gisele Bundchen kind of model: doesn't care about fashion, doesn't care about her status in HF world, only care about success and money. Imo, if she remains in demand with fashion magazines, she will keep on doing editorials, just for visibility sake to help her get campaigns, but don't expect her to go out of her way to court the fashion world. And she is way past runways.
Anna W seemed to like her for a while. Unless she has definitely moved on to Cat McNeil, we should see Doutzen around at least in this publication.
