-Store Opening on December 2nd it's only for press
-VIP gala on December 2nd it's for press only as well
-Heidi and Adriana signing for the public

Doutzen will be at the store opening and VIP gala but those aren't for the public, just so everyone knows

oh wow... the thought of Doutzen landing the SI cover just gave me chills. i know i know, all you high fashion fascists will spit in my direction, but i think it would be THE thing that throws her into true commercial fame. but it has to be timed right now. THIS is her chance to truly make a big impact. when Heidi came out, everything happened for her at once and a star was born. Same with Tyra, Laetitia, Gisele, etc.

obviously the SI cover has lost a tremendous amount of influence over the years, but just look at Marisa Miller and you'll see that with the right model it can be a HUGE career booster. Doutzen is a perfect model.

And IMO she doesnt have the body for SI. But Ill be happy for her if she gets it, just because I love her !

I don't think she fits SI at all, her body is too mascular and not curvy at all

Besides, Tanya and Filipe said it all. Doutzen has a great great body but its not perfect for SI.

Curves is when a woman has a tiny waist and curvy hips and big enough breasts. Doutzen is different.Great and sexy in her own way but far from curvy. Curvy is Marisa, Alessandra now after baby is also curvacious...thats curvy.

To meet the hip measurements is tough. You either have to have narrow hips or no bum when you start. Doutzen's curves are behind her.

You can see she knows how to pose with her hips angled, to create the curve.

I love how fit she looks!

And who told that SI swimsuit models don´t have to be curvy? they expose their body, they need to have curves, that´s obvious to me!

You don't have to be curvy to be an SI model and you don't have to be really athletic, you just have to be PERFECT and IMO right now Doutzen's frame isn't hitting the spot for me. It's not athletic-feminine it's just a little bulky. Her face is killer though, obviously.

^of course you have to be curvy, models like Bar Refaeli & Irina are curvy. you are exposed, you are showing your body, of course is not only the body but the face as well & there´s no doubt about Doutzen´s face, the problem is her body...BUT a model like Doutzen does not need to work for SI.
