i love doutzy to the umpteenth power...but she should've toned it down quite a bit with her cheering and pumping up the crowd...in past appearances, she was more elegant, composed in my opinion

yeah I agree ^ VS is making the angels do this silly stuff now though bc in past shows 03/05 even 06 they never did this crazy stuff! It just started last year and I just wish it would go away,it's so annoying and doesn't give you chills like past walks from the girls.

and we all know Doutzen can walk so it's not all her fault. Someone is telling these girls to act a fool and it's just not working

^I think it all started in 2006 (or maybe in 2005) in that show only the angels were throwing kisses & poiting to the crowed mostly Adriana was doing that but was not much at all. in 2007 was way worst all the angels were doing it & some few models too. this year´s show was insane all the models were jumping, pointing, arm throwing, dancing, shaking their ***es & throwing kisses. don´t you guys get it? the VS show is all dedicated to the celebs that attend to that show, it´s entertainment for them! do you think it will get more "classy"? it will get worst & worst. that is an entertainment show, fix that in your head!

and to say that Doutzen looked 'silly' and 'unnatural' on the vs show its to be truthfull...and it makes me sad..she looked amazingly beautiful (actually she 'is' in the real life)...but the not way she acted

but it is true that all the gestures, pointing, kissing are annoying, and it would be so much better without them, because it does get really grating when you watch the entire show. But I guess they are told to...

Seriously, there is no need to take criticism of models like personal insults. Again, this is not a fan thread, it is a fashion forum where people are expected to indulge in a healthy debate. Bashing is forbidden by the rules but a constructed criticism isn't bashing.

Most models threads are a complete bore precisely because unless you don't come there to worship, you get bullied away. It's annoying.

'Fix it in your heads' - a constructive critisizm of a model ???? lol This is smth new. Seriously. It was thrown for members who 'dare to think' that VSFS 2008 is classier then 2007. Which it sure was, like it or not.

A 'healthy debate' is smth different then that, thats for sure. If it was 'healthy' then its another case, but its not. Just calling VS 'crap' without any logical explanation or a 'show for celebrity' ( what has it to do with Doutzen umm?) without knowing much about it is at least funny. But to each their own. Posts speak louder about the posters then about what they say.

Sure its not a fan thread, but its a 'SUPPORTING CAST' right? People come here to support their fave models, to find new pictures, discuss their work, contribute their stuffs and NOT to read this ****. I wish there was 'ignore' option, seriously. So that people could continue support their fave models without such distractions.

Back on Doutzen topic. After I contributed so much here honestly I dont even feel like that anymore, the mood is so spoiled.

Sad how good things members contribute hardly get noticed but then someone acts like that everyone is sticking up to them.

Have you seen her pic in the Cover Story bulletin for the Koi Suwannagate article? She's on a bike I think and she looks very cute.

My comment was a general one, not a point by point defense of anyone. You completely misinterpreted it to suit your little feud with Filippe, whose message I didn't even quote.

If you want to drag me there, I'll just say that telling someone whose opinion you don't agree with to basically shut up isn't helping the general mood, isn't exactly polite, and could be seen as personal attack. Maybe that poster was rude to begin with, but do as you preach.

Lastly, I do appreciate very much your pictorial contribution to the thread.

I noticed that picture above too ( with the bike) , its cute And I like how Doutzen said in one of the recent interview she was on bike a lot - to school, shopping, out and about. I like bikes too So what has she been up to these days after VSFS I wonder ?....Cant wait for some new exciting stuffs !

Im just gonna ignore such 'spoiling the mood and uncalled for' posts, Ill try to. It was just sad that people who bash Doutzen in their profiles and say they dont like her still come here to 'spoil the mood'. well... i kinda agree, but its the cheerleading kinda way to walk what irritates me,
but all the angels walk like that i think they supposed to...

I agree all the Angels do that, but she was a little over the top especially in the first segment she was throwing her hands when she came out. In the 2nd segment she was pointing during her walk and waving. And in the 3rd segment she couldn't walk to the beat.. really dissapointing. she's great, hope she will improve her behaviour on next years show.

^on the plus side, her body looked good in motion, especially since the stylists put her in outfits that made her body look more feminine than usual (corset, push-up bra). Even the hated green outfit didn't look that bad irl.

That could be just bad editing, the show itself was 88 minutes and on TV they showed only 44 minutes.

P.S. If you want to react to a specific person it's probibly better to sent a PM, so not everyone is becoming a part of the disscusion while it's not about the model/thread were in.

But that is what she has to do & all the models that were hired by VS. Each model had to do a different[SIZE=-1] "choreography[/SIZE]", that´s their dutty as VS models. they were payed for it & I mean, VS must pay really well. VS is an enternaiment show not a fashion show.
