There is a difference between "standing up for yourself" or "holding your own" and what not in order to be taken seriously/not be taken advantage of and then there is just being a b*tch because you somehow think that you have earned the right to piss and moan about everything. There are girls who have even tougher schedules than her, who are much more in demand than her, and are much better known/better paid, but you never see these girls disrespecting anyone or becoming extremely "moody" after a huge fashion event. They are tired, sure, but pleasant none the less because this is the work that they chose to do and as hectic as it is, they are doing it because they love it and understand the draw backs that come with it. These are the girls who earn respect in the fashion industry because they are tolerant, they never scream and shout at anyone for their own troubles, and most of all, they give respect in return. Word flies in this industry and many people look down on "diva" behaviour, especially when your career has just began to blossom and you have already started to act up. Models can seem very aloof/bitchy, most really aren't, but even those who are know when to keep their mouths shut and speak in a tactful manner even when they are being assertive.

Its your opinion, and totally based on one sentense of a video, if you want to believe rumours and stuff that is on you but dont bother others everyone time. We know how you think about it and everyone should make a opinion .

Speculations? Are you kidding me? I am not basing anything on a video. I don't even know the video in question. Have you ever considered, for just one second, that I know what I'm talking about? It's funny that you can get so defensive about a person who you don't even know. I only hope that one day you can be around and just staring at her pictures over the internet, and then I would like to see you getting riled up about her true nature.

whoa, this thread is getting a tad hostile! as a matter of fact if you do know people that have personally worked with her ask them and they will tell you that she is very hard to work with, two of my friends have worked with her for makeup in a runway show and they said that she was very rude to a lot of people around her, it's one thing to stand up for yourself which in the modeling world you HAVE to do in order to not have people walk all over you and take advantage and in other is to just be plain rude, I understand that everyone gets moody after runways shows because the schedules are crazy but I've met some models who have happened to be very nice even after all the crazyness, and also you really don't think a model is going to loose her temper and be rude when you know she being filmed do you? you can stand up for yourself without being rude.

also, just because I wrote this doesn't mean I don't like her, I think she's a great model and is extremely beautiful and I love looking at her pictures, but sometimes you got to realize that just because you admire someone doesn't mean that they are nice behind the scenes.

Hey, I haven't heard anything about Doutzen slapping or punching her
hair dressers, makeup people, or her agent yet, ahem*, unlike some models
(Naomi) so I'm quite content. I'm a bitchy person myself, so is my sister,
many of my co-workers at work. That chick who works at Coffee Republic
is always bitchy. I don't know if it's because it's too early in the morning
for her or what, but she's bitchy, bitchy, bitchy....sheesh! Oh yeah,
and this girl Heidi who works at this gym that I go to, wow, what a b*tch!
There are so many bitchy people out there. I'm not trying to hide behind

If you don't mind, I reserve my judgement about Doutzen until I ,myself, meet her in real life. I don't really think it's good to listen to gossip other people tell about her. You can't really judge her until you know her, or at least have met her in real life.
