Yes Kerstin is fantastic ! I love how she looks 'timeless' - I mean she's there for such a while now and still look very fresh - and refined
She's doing Ralph Lauren every season plus a few more shows in NY, I guess that's why she's got a showcard from IMG Though I hope this doesn't mean Dovile will stay home I'd rather see her coming in Europe as she did for couture in Paris and in London last season. Would love to see her again at Véronique Leroy or Sharon Wauchob...

you know i was wowed when i read that she did Versace and Valentino red this is huge i never thought.She must be for a long time in this biz.Maybe that's why she is not really related with other lithuanian models like Egle, Edita, Giedre because it looks like they all are like best friends, mention each other in interviews.They are other generation

She's there for much longer indeed, not to say she's old or anything but she begun in 2002 or 2003 if I'm not wrong. And yes she did advertisements for Chanel, Versace or Valentino, maybe you can see some pictures of those on the first pages of the thread
I know she knows Egle, I've seen a picture of Dolce & Gabbana where they're together, speaking together in backstage though I agree with you, it's a kind of a new generation even if I still think Dovile's appeal isn't over among today's models and trends

u might be surprised of how little contact these girls have between them exept when by accident they are in the same show or something like that...
They are all in different agencies, and this including their mother agency in Lithuania, so when they started in Lithuania, they never met eachothers, and after they went all to different agencies abroad, that means different programe, never sharing appartments, so in fact never really big oportunity to know eachothers so well.
that's very different when they are from the same agency in lithuania and the same agencies abroad.

and this is not paricularly for lithuanians of course.

^yes, the only two I know that are really friends are Egle and Sandra Gajauskaite and indeed both have the same agencies in Lithuania and abroad... I guess Dovile and Egle spoke together at Dolce & Gabbana's backstage mostly because they're speaking the same language

Baltic model, like Svetlana L. and Kristina V.
Hence her connection with Carmen Kass, at that time Baltic models had office in estonia and in Lithuania and Carmen was from BM estonia.
but they splited complety the offices 2-3 years ago, now BM estonia and lithuania have absolutly no connections.

Thanks for the interview translation Nemezide. I really like Dovile but it seems she doesn't get many gigs.
I loved the interview, very sincere girl (on the verge of indiscretion jaja). Love the part where she says that Testino behaves like a total star. His photos, at least in the past 2-3 years, have given me that impression. As Dovile would put it: a hysterical mediocre.
