Either you go with chic clean lines, or you go for some hardcore romance with one of spring's biggest trend, draping.

Using very fluid tissues to create sharp new concepts, draping is more interesting than ever. It is heavily inspired by the greek goddess theme, but please, no head to toe greek goddess look. It can be broken down with casual chunky platforms, flats or boots.

I love Ann and Rick Owen's style of draping. It's so beautiful, done in an almost ugly way, if that made sense. Meant in the best sense.

I'll tell you this much. I'd rather some draping and swoopy styles than skinny stuff that's off-balance on so many levels. I think drapey clothing shows fluidity and grace by the one wearing the draping clothes. You're talking about styles that are usually graceful and alluring. And that's generally the highlight of looks like this. All about airyness as well as elegance. Should this look persist from female celebrities and average ladies out and about, then it would be a pretty nice deal. I'm pretty sure that almost any fashion top is likely going to make ladies ask something similar to: "any chance of me pairing these with my favorite jeans?" Kind of something to look out upon in the future. But it's lovely from what I've seen in this thread.

to be honest, I don't really like the draping at lanvin, dior, etc. way too cheesy romance draping for me. I like things to be modern and fresh, like at cosmic wonder and ann dem.

This trend is wonderful. I like the teens insparation, it's more that than grecian to me.

Thank you for the pics. :flower:
