WHAT I’M WEARING NOW A Balenciaga leather jacket, a flannel shirt from the Gap, April 77 jeans, Alexander Wang shoes, a YSL ring.
STYLE CREDO I’m a pants girl. I just feel more comfortable in them. Lately I’ve being trying on a lot of pantsuits, like the black Calvin Klein one I wore to their show. The trousers have a shorter Audrey Hepburn length, which I love. Mainly I wear jeans and a T-shirt, with a crazy shoe — the bigger, the better. I tried on the most amazing ones at Gucci. They’re huge platforms with straps that go around the ankle. Phenomenal. Having an accent piece is good. That’s basically all I do.
ON MY WISH LIST A Rick Owens leather jacket and a Proenza Schouler PS1 bag in python.
ON MY WISH LIST (SORT OF) The Balmain jacket with big shoulders. I saw one at Bergdorf the other day. It was black-and-white satin — a little too Cruella De Vil. I like the black wool one with embedded crystals, but it’s so expensive. And such a statement. People are going to look back years from now and be like, “Really?” There are also these men’s boots at Atelier. I don’t know who makes them. I barely understand any of the designers they sell. They’re combat boots, scrunched, with an old feel. They’re gorgeous, but I’m apprehensive about buying stuff that’s grungy. I like to break things in myself. I have a Balenciaga bag that I broke in like it was my job, and it’s glorious.
CURRENT OBSESSION Twitter. My mother turned me on to it. I had no idea what it was, but it’s so fun. You just update your status constantly. I enjoy reading P. Diddy’s. He has the funniest updates. Like: “Women are God’s gift to earth. What are you doing?” I love it.
I don't get the appeal. I do think the famous last name helps a whole lot.
