Odd question really, but how does one dress both stylish and "cute"? I remember seeing this one girl in one of my dance classes who always pulled off the right look. It wasn't sophisticated...but it wasn't tacky...at least on her. It was trendy and cute. I mean she wore a blue pleated miniskirt, big white puffy jacket, and tall uggs...and it actually looked REALLY good. This other time she wore a green tube top, a white crochet knit shrug, blue jeans, and matching lime green kitten heels...and it looked really good on her too. Exactly how does one pull off such a look?

My definition of cute is different stuff, like child-like ruffles, polka dots, sometimes pastels, sometimes bright colours..

Hearts, stars, etc. I also consider to be cute..
But the looks you described, hmm I don't know, to be honest they're hard for me to envision as being 'cute'.
I guess we have different perceptions of what cute is. :P

Sorry not really helping you much. The two piccies of Kate is what I'd call cute/classy/chic ..

Yeah, the ugg part of it all kind of...I don't know. chanel, you're way too modest. You always look amazing not just cute.

i like dressing cute sometimes
for me i mix preppy and girly styles
my essentials are:
-ribbons worn as headbands
-ballet or pointy flats
-knee length skirts
-babydoll dresses

Cute? I think of pastel colours... Like pink =) I think of chiffon and soft fabrics.... Cute means girly to me... Like Rebecca Taylor is very good at designing feminine clothing.

This sounds/looks more like tacky to me. :innocent:
I think flats, cute skirts, feminine hair clips and jewerly, maybe even printed scarves, and ruffled and pastel colored shirts can add a bit of an adorable look to me.
