Dries van Noten F/W 2023.24 Paris

And just like that, Dries is back.

There are so many good coats in this collection. I love look 8, the coat with gold applique. His use of gold look so expensive and sophisticated, the current guy at Schiaparelli can learn a thing or two about this. And look 13 are divine, I want to live in that coat.
The last two patchworks jackets are sublime. I'm in love.

Good clothes, great styling and an appropriate cast. I couldn't ask for more from Dries.

Big fan of Dries. Lots of good things from this collection, beautiful outerwear, stunning layering and patchworks, looks chic&opulent. Waiting for the video to see how everything flows. Seems crazy to me but they are actually quite small as a business (heard ~30million revenues annually).
Small negative point: all their embroideries are made in India...

I'm gunna get a lot of funny looks but was Dolce Gabbana SS08 the mood board? Some of the treatments are, reminiscent....

I do wonder, does embroidery made in India make it any lesser than? Since there are a history of know hows in India that are phenomenally preserved, and are as time consuming/technically driven as couture work
