There seems to be a trend of very strong black clothes vs. weaker experiments with colour in collections this season. This is Dries' best offering for a long time. It's not really at the standard I once expected from him, but it's a move back in the right direction. I'm not really into the pastel section, leading into the floral prints but even the end of this is alright in retrospect.

The black looks are all I needed to see from him, I can almost forget all about the overwhelming florals. It seems like a step in the right direction after some rather unfortunate ventures into experimental territory.

The collection is nice...until the floral prints begin to appear. And the last looks are like Emmanuel Ungaro choosing prints in a dark room.

Yves Saint-Laurent used to call Ungaro the color-blind couturier.

The first 40 looks are great but it takes a nose dive with those prints and the neon palette. Had this been presented in an earth or jewel tones it would look sublime , but it looks as if she peed in her jeans here.

the black solids are so sophisticated: that coat with the big buttons
pretty pales and ruffles
love big blazers
like the print mixes - especially on the strappy dresses
but some of the flower prints are a bit twee for dries
