They might have had the orange zippered varity, which looks similar. I asked and someone in Belgium called and asked for me too, and they said they never ordered it. :/ Thanks though. 
Oh well. Last shot is Hong Kong and then I'll see what I'll do from there if they don't have it.

Can I just say that I love my new Dries boots, they are so elegant but the heel is what makes them. At the same time they are bad ***... but in a quiet way...
Every time I sit down all I can look at is that heel.
Can you tell I'm in love? Thank GOD I did not get the Jill Sanders in the end.
Softgrey: I don't know I usually just wear them with super short skirts and t-shirts with some jacket worn open... it's not very imaginative I know, but it works for me... =)
misako you really are determined for those shoes, I really hope you do find them.. as if you do they will be so much more special.

....sometimes the simplest solution is the best i think...
i find that sometimes one can overthink things (well i can...)
and when i finally get frustrated and throw something together it winds up being the best thing...

Also, not to tempt but if you ever reconsidering those booties from mona moore I'm in Canada and coming back home to London the week before Christmas and would be more than happy to bring them over to you......but i'm going to check out the site now and see if they have any in my size! I do love the dries here. I loved the gold shoes from last season which also had that same heel shape. It's just so interesting and strong.

. they are bad *** in a good way. what's great is we both wear them with totally different things and they work with all of it. they are so FABULOUS and have serious staying power in the closet and will never get pushed to the back. those babies sit up front and center in mine. Enjoy them!!misako, sometime the hunt is the best part.

worth mentioning I just got [at 40% off] today a pre-bday gift...it not one I've ever seen posted...a dark grey aplaca v neck tunic with navy paisley all over. not sheer like in the lookbooks but not heavy either...its the perfect weight actually. love it so, I'm wearing it tomorrow.

My husband wore a Dries three button suit for our wedding last Saturday. I love the slight sheen of the fabric and the dark buttons. Holding my bouquet in this pic, lol, couldn't find a better picture so far of what our friends have sent us

tourist, I am so HAPPY for you, the burgundy flowers are the perfect accent for that amazing suit. so nice to see the mens represented here as well. I really can't express how handsome he looks, with the white shirt and tie, the perfect fit of the suit...it just all so in sync and just how Dries would want it worn.
