Dsquared2 S/S 2023 Milan | the Fashion Spot

Dsquared2 S/S 2023 Milan

It weirdly reminds me of Rejina Pyo. So uninspiring.

The first look is almost Prada-like.

The last 3 dresses are probably the best dresses they ever made. And the 2 suits before that are also great.

The rest of the collection is still tacky but with better styling, it can be great. There are a lot of good separates that get drowned by the styling.

Out of all the Eurotrash brands in the early 2000s, Dsquared2 is the only one that ages gracefully.

What I was expecting when clicking on this thread and what I actually see in this thread are completely different. Not the Dsquared I know, but that’s not necessarily bad. Just a bit shocked at how less trashy it is.

I think I didn't like the collection because maybe it didn't meet my expectations of what I expect from Dsquared2... It's so different and doesn't have the brand identity!

What a strange collection. It's a mash up of really random fabric choices that it feels like an awkward student styling session or one of Zara's awkwardly styled catalogues that comes around every now and then.

It isn't as lifeless as whatever that Fendi collection was, but I'm really confused by what this is trying to say. Were they inspired by those randomised Sims looking people that ask about people's fits on the streets of New York?

With all those psychedelic prints one on top of each other it’s nearing circus territory. Everything that’s not printed is much much better…

i loved the setting for the show, the music was really strong as well. but this looks like urban outfitters or something. odd.
