Dundas F/W 2023.24 Paris

I feel a bit sorry for this guy. To me this reads as a discount version of Tom Ford. This isn’t working at all. The scale is to small and he doesn’t have a clear muse or direction.

it's not bad, colours are pretty nice, cuts, i like the use of devore.
For an independent brand it's good.
I think he has certain following so he could've gone a bit more bold with shine and glitter which he did well at Pucci.

He's made amazing collections for Pucci and Ungaro. What's happening here?

The lack of direction is kinda crazy.

I don't know if I truly enjoy it, but I'm happy he's coming to his senses again after all the crap he's done in the past 5 years. Say what you want, but Dundas knows pure, unbridled hedonistic glamour and he knows how to cut. Cavalli taught him well.

Whatever he did after leaving Cavalli has definitely hurt his taste. I wish showing in Paris will be a regular thing for him and that he will be more in inspiring environment.

Glad to see clothes to do something else than being at an after party…

Im confused by the lackluster cast. Where are his girls? The Isabel Marant cast would have elevated this show tremendously.

I'll always have a soft spot for him but he'll always be a second-rate Tom Ford.

His peak will forever be Ungaro. (His time at Pucci is a guilty pleasure too.)

No money maybe?
I like it actually, its a decent collection to be back to the runway... But i dont know, it feels a bit dated.. the green dress is greay

There are a number of beautiful pieces that are unfortunately drowning in a sea of clutter. Some of the pieces are questionable and tacky while others like the evening dresses minus the sheer are actually beautiful.

Maybe he should show in the US, this has taste issues for sure but he can cut, he's having a hard time pulling this all together

Very interesting pieces in some looks, but the styling ruins the sequence (blue and red then free the nipple and get back to the navy blue again). This feels like a puzzle poorly crafted.
