Honestly, it just makes me so mad that more magazines (especially the ones that always put her on the cover), aren't responding to her comeback! I need her back on Vogue Paris/Italia/British. Look at how much she slays this editorial, just instantly makes you happy and want to buy it. #JusticeForGemma

The second shot with the smokey eye SHOULD HAVE been the main cover. Stunning beyond words.

It's a bit annoying to read all the time that people expect Gemma to be everywhere.
Just a thought: perhaps the industry isn't really that interested in her anymore?
Tbh I never really got the hype anyway. Her print work was always a bit bland. She wasn't really good at portraying different emotions. It was just her look that was very new at that time. But nowadays her look isn't new or fresh at all. She's been back for two years now (gosh time flies) and only Prada and Givenchy decided to get her. Meisel has had a lot of time to put her on the cover of Vogue Italia if he wanted. But clearly he didn't want to. In fact I quite doubt that it was his decision to put her in the Prada campaign, probably Ashley's call.

Anyways, whatever happens to her career I hope she won't be overexposed like she used to be.

The editorial is perfect. This is why I really wished the magazines embrace her back. I mean they are so desperate to just get basic models with lots of instagram followers over the iconic Gemma Ward. Those black and white shots are amazing.

It's always great when a girl has support, but for me, nothing about what she's doing now comes close to capturing the magic of her work that we enjoyed so much back then. The moment has gone. The momentum has gone. Everything that surrounded those days has long since dissipated, and what we have is someone who's a good model, but the Second Coming of Gemma Ward isn't going to be what anyone hopes it will be. It's not her fault, it's just that the fashion world has moved on, for better or for worse.

Gemma Ward out here out posing and out modeling these new models and she was gone from the industry for what 7 years?

She still has it. I really think all she needs is another blue chip campaign and magazine cover and she will truly be back! But the industry has change so much that they focus on how many "followers" someone has and those girls so bland.

My favorite shots are the black and white pictures. AMAZING AND FLAWLESS!
