It's actually Gabby Westbrook Patrick, confirmed on Elle Australia's instagram.

I don't like the styling.
The girl is pretty, but there were words on Nicole Trunfio. I was expecting someone bigger like Miranda, Elle Macpherson, even Gemma.
Overall, it doesn't look like a debut issue cover.

Very much so. Actually I thought it was Maddison Brown.

It'll be interesting to see if Elle can take away from Vogue and Bazaar's market share. Truth be told, I personally am enjoying Vogue a lot more than Bazaar.
Bazaar's standards have dropped...not necessarily bad but more like an upmarket version of Grazia.

Wow, this is their debut cover? I was expecting someone who was more recognisable. It's a nice image, but it looks like an image from a shoot inside, rather than for a cover.

I think it's a rather nice cover, though I could do without the scarf, it's making me feel disgustingly hot just looking at it with that desert background. It's a nice starter issue not every first magazine cover packs a punch, some can improve with age, so hopefully this is the case for Elle Australia.

I am really excited for this magazine. The cover confuses me only because I was kind of hoping for something a bit more spectacular, especially for the launch/re-launch but I just know the content is going to be great. The team they have assembled is fantastic.

Australia had an edition of Elle years ago, but it was canned.

I wonder what a new Elle can offer to the Australian market? Maybe fill the space left by Madison? (Although, why would they want to, considering Madison had to shut down?)

With Russh, Vogue, Harper's, InStyle, and to a slightly lesser extent, Marie Claire - the high fashion mag market here already feels a bit full.

They would need some kickarse editorials, features, and reports to lure me to buy.

I've always been impressed with the accessories coverage done by some of the other Elle mags - I'd be really pleased if they focused a bit more on high fashion accessories and jewellery than the other magazines do. *hopeful*

Actually I'm feeling quite excited by this now. Can't wait to nip across to the newsagency after work to flick through a copy.

Heh, Elle reminds me of being a teenager. Ah, the nineties. The cover is certainly reminiscent of 90s Elle covers, and that's not a bad thing. Aussie Elle always stood out to me a bit more from Vogue in conveying more of an Aussie laid back yet still high fashion vibe.

If they can fill a niche somewhere between Russh (which can be a bit too pretentious) and Vogue, then that would be cool.
