I'm not very familiar with the house of Ungaro codes and aesthetics, but I loved every collection Dunda's sent out in the name of Emanuel Ungaro, the work by Fausto Puglisi is very cool and different but I don't know if it's true to Ungaro core values....
Since Fausto is on Ungaro, now the brand's called Ungaro Couture.
ForChicSake I'm with you, editors will love this collection. Has many excellent different editorial pieces, this looks good on women and great in editorials, looks with very intricate details.
ADLR will wear everything and put everything in her editorials she loves Fausto's work!
I really love it! I forgot that Puglisi now in Ungaro. I think Ungaro Couture sounds very solid. I love fur coats, looks very powerfull. After this dark period for Emanuel Ungaro fashion house, i see bright future. And of course happy to see Edita on runway !!!
Maybe some of the animal prints are not really my cup of tea, this is a delightful collection. Good to see Ungaro doing well again, Puglisi did a spectacular job for the house.
its tacky but some pieces do work, and since its not bad for a first effort but some of the outfits look like something some villain from batman and robin would wear.
It's by no means the worst collection I've seen so far. And given a couple more seasons maybe Puglisi will settle and flourish, or maybe not. But what Ungaro the fashion house really needs is a star genius like Elbaz or Ghesquiere to do Ungaro the master the justice! It makes me sad every season when I see a lacklustre or downright horrid collection bearing the name of Ungaro.
This isn't a good collection, but I think Fausto's on the right track. He's good some good ideas. With a little polishing, this partnership could turn out half decent.
Not too crazy about the rest of the collection, but I think it's headed in the right direction. Certainly has more artistic appeal than Simons at Dior.
