Emilio Pucci S/S 2012 Milan

Reminds me of old school Dolce & Gabbana a bit.

Most of it is just too cheap to even look at, but it looks fun to wear I guess.

My mind is reading Pucci but my eyes are seeing Cavalli.

If Cavalli ever needs an heir , he found him in Dundas. The clothes are not bad, some of it is good , but those bermuda shorts lol are just wrong and it is a bit sloppy. This collection will be widely copied none the less , as everyone else is either doing gym clothes , hitchcock b*tch or daisy buchanan. I like the chokers .

Miaaauw.

Emilio Pucci did @dolcegabbana .Im sorry Dolce&Gabbana is Dolce&Gabbana @stefanogabbana

Francescognamiglio twitter.

And I think he's right. I likes few dresses, but most of it

I don't mind this at all. Considering what's been happening at Versace and DolceGabbana, it's nice to see someone still doing sexy/trashy/tacky/chic.

Really unexpected turn. Peter for Dundas added that extra touch to the Pucci graphic patterning, to see it become a "messy gypsy" look doesn't give the label justice (it's also, like what many have mentioned, a very much Cavalli sensibility that he already dominates in).

True, but there's still something missing from this collection.

I'm still on the fence with this collection. I really like Peter and what he did for Ungaro and so far for Pucci. But every season he moves further away from what I think of as Pucci.

I'm not liking it. It's not as bad as Missoni but I still think these traditional Italian brands are moving into the wrong direction. I understand that they want younger costumers but does that mean you have to gypsy-fy everything? It's too messy for me. And if baring your midriff is becoming so trendy again I'll die.

Most of this is just pure costume. There are several lovely pieces though. Guess it's the drama in me. XD

Does Pucci offer its accessories (shoes, namely) for retail? I liked the heels from this collection, and actually the last one too..

Yes, you can actually find a lot of runway pieces on their website if they have online shopping in your country.

I like it. Easier to "feel" than some of the other collections. Kinda good actually.

I actually think this collection is quite good. Pucci was never the type of aesthetic that fit my regular tastes to an ace but I've always liked it in a different way. This collection is no different. Yes, it's a bit dramatic and kistchy and loud, but that's a part of what I like about it.
