I love that Emily has been basically wearing Alaïa (my absolute favourite designer) for the SI press events. She's definitely a breath of fresh air with the way she's been engaging with promoting the swimsuit issue, like her Good Day NY interview. She's more friendly and inviting in comparison to Jessica Perez.

Was not aware that i needed another reason for wanting her to win other than i like her...but okay, here goes: In my opinion, she out of all the girls would be the most appealing to men, to me she kind of looks like sort of a Jessica Rabbit, pin-up type of girl, that mixed with the fact that SI did their absolute best to 'sex' her up as much as possible, plus she's an American native, you would think she would be winning.

I don't think we'll ever really know why it didn't work out with her & VS, I personally still think Adriana had something to do with it!

...Off course it's not to say that she'll never work them again, her name was on their casting sheet last year. LOL maybe there is hope yet!

She has the best body out of those 4 girls in a male gaze sense (kind of like the same way people think about the cover girl).

There's a little bit of Josie Maran, Irina Shayk, Adriana Lima and a pinch of Kate Upton with generous helping of class in her.

Whenever a model that has brunette with blue eyes (Emily) or a latina model that resemble Adriana works for VS (Sara Sampaio) VS and/or Adriana is suspected of limiting their work with VS.

The SI Rookie rigged accusations comes up whenever the most
popular rookie on the forums (this year Emily, last year Michelle
Vawer) is losing the vote and there's no other acceptable explanation can made as to why she's losing.

Off course it's opinion, i was not trying to pass it off as fact, hence the reason i said we'll probably never know the exact reason.

The reason that I, personally, hold this opinion however is because like I've said before it's not exactly uncommon for an older, more experienced women to feel threatened when a younger counterpart comes onto her territory. It has nothing to do with modelling in particular, I mean isn't that just human nature.

...Not only did Emily shoot for VS but she was Adriana's replacement over at Maybelline.

I went back a few pages and saw some of you discussing Emily's height and if that's limiting her. How tall is she? Her wikipedia page says 5'10''.

That Kate Bock got Rookie of The Year at SI.. such bs. Emily was much better than her and a stand out She doesn't have a butterface either. I guess she didn't kiss SI's butt enough like some of them do!
