Ack, I so hoped they wouldn't film that awful epilogue, but it looks like from those imagesm, they have.


I love the books immensly, but that epilogue ruined that last book for me. It was so not needed.

But have you realised that the films do not follow the books verbatim and that artistic license means that they have, and should make certain exceptions, especially when it comes to something visual like style which can't be portrayed efficiently in writing?

also, after goblet of fire there is little to no mention of hermione being frumpy or awkward or having big teeth. I personally assumed that she had "blossomed" and was no longer plain or ungainly.

I don't find older Hermione's appearance frumpy or haggard at all. She looks like a well put-together mom, which is what she is. Blazer, button down shirt, jeans...if she had been wearing sweats, then I would have a serious problem. Even if the movies strayed from the original storyline, the clothes that everyone wears in them have always been perfectly "normal". Trying to make Hermione or anyone else "stylish" in the epilogue would be completely pointless.
