I have to say I do not that think hair cut suits Emma at all. Infact, I'd go as far as to say I think it looks horrid on her. And I'm someone who thinks she's amazingly beautiful.

For me that haircut's going to rule her out of getting certain magazine covers for a starters (if she hasn't already shot any.)

^ In terms of covers, I agree. I think it needs to grow out a bit until I see some members starting to like the short 'do.

I can't decide if I like her short hair. Didn't in the candids - it looks quite decent in the facebook shot though. I need to see more pictures... But v. short normally works with soft and pretty features like she has - so I guess we'll get used to it.

It is very Jean which suited her naturally, with Emma it just looks like a bad haircut because none of her features stand out to really carry it off.

I think she looks very sweet and soft. I think that those just happened to be bad candids (frumpy outfit, wind blowing it all around).

Too often women link their identity and their hair inextricably, and I am so proud to see a young actress taking this risk.

I'm not yet sold, but I respect her a great deal for doing this. Very brave, very brave, indeed.

I've gotten use to Carey's cut but I just don't like it on Mia Or Emily.
Emma to me is a long hair girl. But it's good to have a change once and a while.

oh emma! weird... hmm it doesn't look good in the candids, that kind of portrait shot it looks nice enough in. I prefer her old hair but maybe I just need to get used to this. from the comments I thought it would be awful!! I was going back through the pages to find the damage haha. Her old hair did suit her style better though imo

I LLLOOOVVVEEE the new haircut! I think in the candids the wind was probably blowing around which makes her hair look odd. I admire that she took such a huge risk, not many people would be willing to do so, and she looks fab with this look.

Sorry to say this: I am sure that she´s already regretting it.

She was looking so good lately....it´ll grow back in a year or so. She´s young, she is daring, you get bored easyly.

Been there, done that.

If you always had longish hair, you´ve gotta chop it all at least once in your life, at least to learn that it is (in some cases) a very bad idea.

^i don't think it's that much of a bad idea - you can have long hair between the age of 4-50 without looking weird usually because after that unfortunately lots of women get rather thinnish hair though there are beautiful exceptions with women over 50 with long hair, but what i want to say: it's just hair - and having them long is no accomplishment - you can always leave it to grow - i mean come on, she is 20 or what? she can have long hair again...

i would love to have short short hair for once but i just don't think i have the features to do so but i love when actresses like her or Natalie Portman, Carey Mulligan, Michelle Williams etc. cut their hair ...they can always go back to long hair - it's not the end of the world imo

^Exactly its just hair, it will grow back. Maybe Emma did this for herself? Maybe she doesn't care about pleasing everyone? Either way I think its good that she was able to take a risk that not many would do.
