And Emma looks so different in that shot! The makeup is very heavy, but I like it.

That looks like it could be Mario Testino in the picture, so it could be for Vogue.
I doubt it's for UK Vogue again though, since she just had a cover 4 months ago, so it has to be US Vogue.
It looks too high fashion for Teen Vogue.

I'm excited to see the finished product! The colors they're using look wonderful!

And I really like her candid look in that first picture you posted, immortalbliss!

^Well technically it was started by Carey Mulligan, Michelle Williams, etc.
But Emma seems to have inspired a lot of people to chop their hair off. lol.
I know a couple of people at school who are now sporting pixies thanks to Emma.

Yeah, she definitely did not. That doesn't cheapen her decision, but it does group her with a bunch of young actresses with the same hair. I agree that the novelty has really worn off for me.

I also don't really like how it is "such a big deal." It's just hair. I think it's a little cheap to act like a dramatic hair cut is a kind of scandal. It's belittling.

^Well that was all the media who made a big deal out of it as they do with most things.
But I guess people were shocked since there was always a lot of focus on Emma's hair for the past 10 years, because that is Hermione's trademark ("bushy brown hair").

But I think even Emma's tired of her pixie now, since she said she's going to grow it out.

^I agree. It wasn't Emma who made a big deal out of it, it was the media. Though I do think there was an amount of symbolism for her. Regardless, I'm tired of it because I simply think long hair is better on her.

I don't think Emma had anything to do with the marketing of her hair. I was glad that she was very candid about why she cut it and what it meant to her.

I am SO glad she growing it out!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick message to say thank you for all the Birthday wishes and gifts you’ve sent. I’m continually overwhelmed by the support from you all. It means so much to me, so thank you very much.

Turning 21 is a significant occasion for everyone, and it’s proved to be quite a milestone.

I’ve completed my first year of study at Brown University. As I’m sure you’re all aware, November saw the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Filming for the final instalment of Harry Potter has also reached an end, an experience that was incredibly poignant for everyone involved.

My second fair trade fashion collection for People Tree came out in February, and in March my Pure Threads collaboration with Alberta Ferretti was released. It’s been great fun working with such marvellous people, and this year I plan to continue pursuing my love of fashion, working as an ambassadress for Lancôme.

Elsewhere I’ve been preparing for the start of filming The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I can’t wait to start work on the film, and look forward to new challenges.

On my Birthday I look forward to spending some time with my friends and family. Once again, thank you so much for all your support.

I love how you can tell how much Emma loves fashion. I'm glad she's making that a part of her life. She is also always well-spoken, so she's definitely an actress I can root for! And I'm glad she's growing out her hair too!

I feel like she just released the video where she was excited about turning 18.

But her hair looked really cute in that video and I can't wait to hear her American accent in Perks of Being a Wallflower!
