The same thing could have been said a few years ago when I think she did consluting for Chanel and it was all about tweed jackets and Daria, Daria, Daria. However no one seemed to complain by that time. That is the signature style she created herself, acquired through the years and her work reflects it. The key to success and it has worked (and it has worked very well if may I add!). However I do agree that Emmanuelle can do way better than she has been doing lately (and it translates into both style and editorial work).

I used to worship Alt as well. She has indeed a great personal style, but as a stylist I expect her to style something that is not only inspired by her own signature style. She has done a great job at Marant. However, I'm totally eager to see something new.That is after all what fashion is about.

So I guess I have to agree with Thefrenchy, not a genious anymore.

Thank you so much for the link pinksofa! I love Mademoiselle Agnès's documentaries and can't watch it on French TV so I'm delighted to have the opportunity to do it now.
Emmanuelle sounds like a nice down-to-earth person.

i absolutely loved her sincerity and respect for the shows
when she blasts those self-important asssholes who leave before the designers even off the runway...
