Yes, his body is fake. No one has abs that perfect and symmetrical. It is impossible. His arms are also much skinnier in real life. His cheekbones and chin/jawline are also enhanced.

But they do this crap to everyone. I mean everyone. So why should we be surprised here now?

I hated the hair in first ad i have seen, but now that other's are out, i think it looks edgy and fantastic. It must be such an ungrateful job for any photographer to shoot underwear ads, because there is only so little you can do each season, yet you want it to look different and fresh. Mert & Marcus are doing a great job with the Beckhams here.

that's what Herb Ritts was doing 20 years ago, I don't think that's different and fresh.

Afraid I'm with you here Lucy92......they have pushed it just a bit far now He must have been embarassed himself pulling these kinds of poses.
I somehow came round to liking the last ads but that ain't gonna happen this time.
Also rh85 you are totally right....Ritts pulled this kind of thing off without photoshop some 20 odd years ago.

I don't see anything embarrassing here, photographer's always reference others and M&M do it well at least, plus David is perfect subject because he is not afraid to play with his image.
