Escada S/S 2014 New York

Escapism was the key word at Escada. Creative director Daniel Wingate took an imaginative journey around the world, collecting different inspirations that he nicely juxtaposed into the elegant-yet-relaxed lineup.

A two-tone floral print on both a one-shouldered maxidress and a silk dress embellished with caviar-like beads echoed the French Riviera’s sophisticated vibe, while a silk frock draped along the shoulders featured a pineapple pattern for a bit of tropical flavor. There were also more urban outfits thrown into the mix: a chic black-and-white evening jumpsuit offered a feminine take on the tuxedo, and a leather A-line dress featured cutouts created with high-pressure water, a new technique for the brand.

The styling was definitely superb. Loving the french-riviera take and the bright colors.
