I've heard a lot about the Advanced Night Repair Range. Some swear by it, whilst some others report that it isn't all that.

Has anyone of you used it? I'm a bit sceptical, and could use another opinion before I buy it. Are there any particular skin types it works best on, or is it applicable on all skin types? I have combination/oily skin, and slight discolouration around my eyes due to lack of sleep. It's rather steep, mind, but I won't mind the price if it's really the "miracle worker" it's purported to be.

I don't care much for the Synchronized Repair stuff, it's just a moisturizing serum, old Advanced Night Repair serum worked better for me, but only short term, the nice skin effect stopped after about 4 months. Eye gel is completely useless IMHO, sticky and stings. However, the Advanced Night Repair Concentrate is great, hydrates skin, calms down any irritation or redness. I use it instead of lip balm most times, it's not thick or shiny, but makes lips soft all day long. It's not a miracle worker by any means, but it's probably one of the more effective products from department store offerings.
I'm not too sure, but I don't think any of ANR products are supposed to do anything for discolorations, but Estee Lauder is usually rather good with samples, you could ask for some before you get the full bottle. Skinceuticals has a green serum called Phyto+ that works to treat discolorations and calm skin, it's way more effective than ANR Imo.

I have tried it and I love it. I tried the regular one, not all that synchronized stuff, and it was great. Even out my skin tone, faded wrinkles on my forehead, somehow my pores where less noticeable... BUT. The price. It's bloody £75 for 30 ml DK while it's £54 for 50 ml in the UK!!! I thought they where joking. A-holes. I mean, what is the point of that?! I am so not buying it in Denmark, ever. Not even if I win the lottery.

Thanks for the responses. :flower:

I suppose it differs from person to person, then. I think I'll request a sample, and then decide whether to buy it or not. £54 is something I can afford.

I used up an entire 30ml bottle and didn't notice a difference. However, all the rave reviews I've read have made me contemplate trying it again!

I am about 2/3 through a bottle of the synchronized version and I haven't noticed any difference either... it makes my skin feel soft, but no difference to fine lines etc...

Been using the regular advanced night repair for ages, well probable atleast 6-7ish years..
I can tell the difference to my skin when I run out and don't apply it every night.

I read somewhere that the one product the ex-Estee Lauder SAs keep buying after they stop working for Estee Lauder (and therefor stop getting at a discount) is hands down advanced night repair.

I love this stuff - I've been wearing a lot less concealer since I started using it - and I found you can get it SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper on eBay. Here.

I am wondering: does anybody use this during the day? Is there a particular reason it's labeled for use at night? I'd use it twice as often if it made sense to do so...

I use it and have found it helps when I start getting rosacea symptoms. It's also great for when the seasons change and you haven't quite readjusted your moisturizers. I don't think it's a miricle worker, but I love it enough to have bought it for the last 5 years even as a poor student.

I LOVE the eye cream too nita-karoliina, it has such a delightful texture it's a pleasure to apply it.

For those who hasn't noticed any effects, you should use the C E Feluric from Skinceuticals because it has a really big amount of vitamin C wich exfoliates and an antioxidant effect as ANR, so you'll see a really nice improvement in skin texture and luminosity.
