Is Crème de la Mer Just a Giant Scam?

I was sucked in, and have to agree that the product is over-rated

Honestly, some of the best things are the cheapest. Things like pure olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter. These things are under $10 and they are some of the best things you can put on your skin.

A family friend put me on to Creme De La Mer's fraud, because she's a dermatologist. And any product that uses mineral oil as it's primary ingredient is cheap and shouldn't cost what La Mer costs.
