Her profile is so amazing. I love how there are traces of animalistic behaviour in her face. Her stare is very horse-like. Ofcorse not to be traslated literally but more creativly, especially the last picture in the #58. I alwasy believed that we all have animalistic features in us and in this case I'm pretty much convinced.

^I promise I will look next time (the mag is at home and won't be back home until next week), if I don't please tell me, tell me, tell me until I do it Btw as we are talking about styling, this editorial was a great surprise (a I hope a brand new start for the mag) from Isa, who was (and who is, besides of the editorials) kinda cheap. Eugenia's ed really changed my mind about it

seriously?, I thought it'd be 10 magazine or something as the styling reminds me a lot to that of Lucy Ewing and other frequent contributors.. I don't remember hearing of Isa before but it certainly looks like a publication to remember .. I'm now intrigued about what happened after this ed.. this is S/S 07, huh?. wonder if they've done equally good eds...
and don't worry, I'll check back on you first thing on tuesday.

Totally agree, I would rather say it comes from 10 or Lula rather than ISA...
Actually ISA is really cheap french magazine (cheap in both senses: its below 2 euros and most of the contents are all about "diet advices" and "sex tips" ) though the editorials have improved all over 2007. I'd say they improved in many cheap french mags (Biba, Glamour...) and that's a great thing. There are so many good models, and promising young photographers etc. that have to get some exposure so I'm just enthusiastic to see those mags bringing them some work instead of the commercial editorials they used to have before... Right now, the latest editorial from ISA is featuring model Emmi Hellsten, not really what I'd call "mainstream face" and they had Laura Blokhina since as well. The quality of the eds is still good too, hope they'll keep on working that way in 2008 !

..and don't forget Playboy ... yet another French revamp of 2007, so to speak. I guess French publications, including the 'average', are ahead of the road in the fact that they've already suffered what women's publications overseas are suffering right now and have also learned that 'high fashion' has become a well-known, if not unconsciously sought-after term for newer generations so they've managed to mix all the ingredients and the result put them in competence.. and competence always raises the bar for quality.. so it's probably a hard time to have a magazine in France right now but for buyers.. it's pure candyland.

You're right the average mags in France have now better editorials than what it used to be, and better ones than their cousins abroad (just compare french Glamour to US Glamour or even french Cosmo...) only Italian ones (Glamour there is better than some Vogue editions in some countries ) and now spanish ones are on the right slope !

Back on topic, I've checked the names behind this ed I didn't forget, that's a world première Photographer is Marcus Mam and stylist Ugo Bouvet (I've tried to search his same on the net but didn't find anything worth a look, maybe it will ring a bell to you )
