thanks for the pics annamaria :flower:

did you scan those yourself?
if not, what was the source?

^^thanks for taking the time to scan them and post the info on them... they have a sort of film noir quality about them..
but that could just be the dark/smoky scenery that evokes that feel for me :flower:

That's exactly what I was thinking^_^
comic book form in a film noir like style...
women super heros, cats lovers:doh: in that dark city drinking coffee:doh:

fantastic editorials!
thankyou for all the pictures posted :flower:

I just came across his website and decided to see if tFS had a thread on Recuenco. I was so happy to find this! And with some pics I haven't seen before. :woot: I love finding a new artist to love. His pictures are so inspired. I love the editorials on his site too. They really do tell a story. I love that so much. I love movies where the acting is so good you forget about the actors and just see the characters, his photographs are like that for me. I forget about the models and just see the scene and characters. It reminds me of how Bourdain's and Newton's pictures are so dramatic and tell a story too. Except these seem less sexual^_^ . Fashon needs more photographers like this IMO. :flower:

I love his work, because EVERY photograph tells a different, elaborated story. His photos are so detailed, so rich, but there's always that otherworldly dimension to them. He's one of my favourite photographers, by far

Eugenio Recuenco

Just a couple of his photos

I think he is one of the most talented photographers and I only recently found out about him. I assume he likes to keep a lower profile because I'm pretty shocked that I haven't come across his work sooner. Love love love it
