I agree, and Sophia Loren and Bianca Jagger carry it well. Ivana Trump and Jerry Hall less well... Ivana is the worst here IMO.

Anyway, Eurotrash style is far from my personal style ideal. It's very hard to pull off, and a lot of the time it looks tacky. It's a real tightrope to walk!

But if you do it well, it's spectacular and instant glamour! Hmm... Makes me wonder, is "eurotrash" equal to "glamour" somehow?

This look is most prevalent in Long Island, NY men... D&G, flashy Roberto Jeans, thick gold chains, big Dior sunglasses, and over-gelled hair. These are guys who are great at faking rich and girls sadly fall for it.

It's also prevalent among Long Island women too. My friend calls them Ginos and Ginas.

Eurotrash is glamour without restraint.

Now that I think it. My aunt is a bit eurotrash, she's VERY glamourous, HUGE diamond rings, pashminas, white suits worn with a red patent belt. A champange Jaguar named "Gatita" (female kitten in spanish). Just too much, over the top but still super glam, and she doesn't have a logo in sight. She has Vuitton but the Suhali, nothing Monogrammed.

i just thought of this horrible japanese photoshoot with those women wearing similar things. well of course it's a photoshoot and they are displaying accesories etc. it's all very.. victoria beckham
i can't imagine wearing all that at the beach. so glam, though, but to me it's soo fussy.
