Jeez I watched most of it well it was on at a friends house and we were kinda watching it. Norway was always gonna win even though it was fairly crap. UK did really well
I actually thought Lithuania were pretty good.
Anyhow bollocks to who won.......who was the gorgeous girl who was hosting it??????? Stunning apart from some crappy dress choices.

Greece really sucked. hated it.

That was the venerable Terry Wogan, who presented Eurovision in the UK for 38 years, no wonder he got tired of it.

Australia is feeling the loss of Terry as well, he was much loved here amongst Eurovision enthusiasts.

i voted for Germany, just because of Dita von Teese

Actually, the song was also allright, quite stylishly made, not the usual eurotrash (ie Ajerbaijan etc, )

(And its good that Norway won.. in these times, who else can afford it, except totalitarian or rich countries )

talking about Germany... Dita was lovely but I was blinded by singers silver trousers! And the paleness of her skin and his fake tan was just too much!

my faves were: norway, iceland, estonia, lithuania and the uk.

All countries do pay! It's just that Germany, France, Spain and the UK pay the most so they are admitted into the final for that. And Russia won last year so that's why they were the fifth to automatically get placed.

And I LOVED the Estonian song. I'm obsessed with it So beautiful and what a beautiful language too! I never heard a word of Estonian before and always thought it would sound Russian (not pretty, sorry) but woohoo it sounded Elvish!

Yeah all countries that participate to the contest pay, that's why some countries (poor ones) are hesitating wheter they should participate or not, because paying the fee first and then placing last isnt really worth it. Estonian isnt like Russian, because it belongs into the Finno-Ugric languages, and is pretty similar to Finnish.
