Eva Green

I love her and how she wears something crazy like this. She's kind of like Helena Bonham Carter in that way, showing beauty, intelligence, independence and eccentricity all at once, which is so much more appealing than the plastic Rachel Zoe coterie. Shine on Eva - you are fantastic!

aah she's so freakin cool!! that dress is hideous but she can pull it off!

I love her, but she looks positively insane in that dress.
Eva always looks insane. That's her trademark. She the French Helena Bonham Carter.

I think she looks bad in the full length pictures because of the shoes. They look very uncomfortable and she has to stand with her legs wide apart to stabilise herself. That pose is very disgraceful, hence the awkwardness. When she is sat down, she looks great, imo.

Oh my god wtf. I don't care if Eva can pull it off, that dress is TERRIBLE and should be shredded 10 times over.

A few more..

I watched Casino Royale yesterday (for the 2nd time). Eva looks so great in that movie

This has to be one of the most bizarre things style.com has come up with, but it awarded Eva 6th place with that dress on its weekly best dressed list!

she's looks like a wrapped candy or present.
i guess the only way to justify that dress is to put it into that fashion niche where it's about art and not style. but that is just horrendously pretentious. on the plus side, her shoes are kind of fabulous, in a high-end stripper sort of way.
and it is the shoes that count.

^with Daniel Craig for the second time. I like them on screen together ^_^
Does she have a contract to be in the next James Bond movie?

I adore her in that Dior dress. She pulls it off with aplomb - you can never say that Eva is boring. She does everything in an offbeat and interesting way that really makes her fascinating; acting, fashion, everything. She just puts her heart into things and lets her personality shine through. I think its why she gravitates towards labels that have BIG personalities of their own. McQueen, Dior, Givenchy, these are not labels for wallflowers.
