Do you collect anything?
Religious icons, but not necessarily expensive ones. I pick them up in markets. I found some in Portobello recently.

What is your favourite item of jewellery?
A stunning men's watch from Montblanc.

Describe your current look...
'Comfort chic' as I'm not shooting - a cashmere jumper, and scruffy tracksuit bottoms.

What's your favourite party outfit?
A red velvet Alexander McQueen dress that I wore for the premiere of Casino Royale. It had long velvet sleeves to shield me from the cold London weather.

What is your most recent purchase?
A really cool Sixties-inspired wool dress from Barbara Bui - and some easy day tops from Topshop.

What is your favourite city in the world?
I always have fun in Berlin.

What do you buy at duty free?
I end up spending a fortune on expensive make-up.

What luggage do you use?
A huge black Samsonite suitcase, a gift from Barbara Broccoli after my old suitcase burst in the seams.

What is your favourite street market?
Les Puces de Saint Quen, Porte de Clignancourt, Paris. There's a jovial atmosphere, with people crowding round the stalls, hoping to find a bargain.

What is your ideal London night out?
Having dinner with friends ar St. John's or Saki in Clerkenwell - my two favourite restaurants.

What has been your biggest fashion influence?
A pair of crocodile-skin Sergio Rossi boots which I intend to wear every day this winter.

What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe?
My black velvet Jean Paul Gaultier jacket. It has leg o'mutton sleeves and is very theatrical.

What do you never travel without?
My contact lenses and a good book, such as Antal Szerb's 'Oliver VII'

Who are your favourite designers?
The tow Gs: Galliano and Gaultier.
