Ann was my pick...!! Even though she couldn't take pictures 100%- she DID take a few good ones. With time she could have improved. In my opinion she was the only girl who could do it all!!! Ann could totally book commerically, she could do bodywork like victoria's secret and sports illustrated.. AND she has this sort of androgenous look at times that would be great for high fashion. She's 5'11 for christ sake!!! Her face is 100% symetrical and although she was a bit immature and un-likable.. she DID have personality.. She cracked me up quite a few times... Her and Eva were hilarious in their video clips in the confessionals.

And.. If you see the video clip from the go-sees.. Cynthia Rowley says about Ann.. "She BLOWS the other girls away... She is like bookable right now!"...
That to me was when I thought she had it in the bag. In the REAL world of modeling go-sees... But unfortunitely Ann sucked during the show with picture taking.

I love Eva- but she has NO SHOT in hell at Fashion. She's purly commerical. BUT she will make alot of money commerically. So it wasn't a totally bad choice.

Cool.. I knew she would get picked up.. But I guess the judges/Tyra knew it wouldn't be fair to let Ann win ANTM when there were alot of other girls that took better pictures and were working harder.
I agree that Ann should not have won because of her lack of effort. But natural talent/looks IMHO she was the only one that could actually work alot in fashion and elsewhere in the real world.

Do you guys think that the agency involved have alot of say as to what kind of girls they want to be casted in the show and have some sway as to who the winner is? Like season to season, there is kind of an underlying look that all of the girls have. But the show is kind of turning out like star search america, where none of us know who the hell the winners are, but we all know like justin timberlake the *loser*.

To me, Europeans look different than third, fourth generation white Canadians/Americans. they are mutts, of course there are some who are still of pure british extraction though.

i think he meant pure eurpopean because both of daria's parents are 100% ukranian..so it does make a difference in terms of looks.

ehh, I come from an area of Canada with a VERY high ukranian population and don't think there is a difference. I mean, there is a difference between someone who is 100% ukranian 4 generations down and someone who is 4 generations down but has a mix of different things. My family has been settled in Canada for quite a long time (how boring) but I have lots of friends who parents or grandparents came right from the Ukraine and I don't find they have a certain characteristic that makes them look 'european'.
