Exclusives aren't what they used to be are they. These girls would hardly be booking ALL the shows, which is what an exclusive meant 10 years ago.

I feel like the only three exclusives that work nowadays are Saint Laurent’s (Adut, Hiandra, etc), obviously Prada (Mica, Lineisy, Kris, Anok, Yasmin, etc) and Vuitton just to some extent (Rianne). Everything else is just bookers making sh*t up to try to make their models get in the race, i’m still laughing at that ”Prabal Gurung exclusive”

I feel like there are a number of current Vuitton girls who could be big if the brand didn't continuously rope them in for exclusives: Signe, Clementine, etc.
I feel like if Nicolas had his way, Rianne and Sora would still be under WWE every season.

Yep, look at Lulu Tenney and Leila Goldkuhl. All those seasons as Calvin Klein exclusives and they are nowhere to be seen this season. I think exclusives have become a lazy way for agencies to make it appear they've done something special for a girl when it may very well be that they know the girl may not have what it takes to book other big shows.

Yep, look at Lulu Tenney and Leila Goldkuhl. All those seasons as Calvin Klein exclusives and they are nowhere to be seen this season. I think exclusives have become a lazy way for agencies to make it appear they've done something special for a girl when it may very well be that they know the girl may not have what it takes to book other big shows.

I have a strong feeling that Lulu is under the contract untill she's 18 (at least) and since there are no CK show this season, she's nowhere to be seen. Like Sofia M that had exclusive contract under Raf that lasted till MGC's first collection for Dior.
Exclusive is the easiest way to catch attention on new girl. But this Prabal Gurung or Bottega Veneta exclusives (or 20+ exclusives on Louis Vuitton) are getting me questioned

I don't think these 2 are a good example to make a point
Cuz Lulu may still be under a CK contract, as Ivanovaju said. And Leila walked for CK as an exclusive twice because 1 she was pregnament in the first time (WWE) and 2 she had a new born in the following season (City Exclusive) So, walking only 1 show was obviously the best decision for her.
Also, there's a big reason why she's not doing FW this season. It's not like she's not booking shows.

Kris Grikaite was a Prada exclusive a few years ago but you'd still see her in magazines, even on covers of Vogues. Can't say the same about either Lulu or Leila.

Well, Lulu is still underage for any work with CN magazines, Leila didn't have much print work before pregnancy and CK exclusives.
A year and a half ago Fran Summers started with 2 exclusive in Europe and then booked the most quanity of shows in Paris, so you never know. Exclusive contracts may give some hopes for casting director's loyalty. And casting directors are always intrested in finding new faces/stars as well
