Eyeliner

I love Stila's smudge pots and Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On eye pencils.

They have the best colors, whether you want sophisticated or something more funky.

What is the best eyeliner to use on the lower inner lash line, one that stays?

^ I use a Dior pencil liner (I don't think it has a specific name) and I've been using that for about 3-4 years now, it's the best. It never smudges or leaks unlike many others I've tried and it goes on super easy

no matter what eyeliner pencil i use, it never goes on in the outer corners of my eyes, which obviously doesn't look too good. what could i do against that? :( i really don't know why, it is weird. it goes on well all around my eyes, but in the outer corner the colour just won't transfer to the skin and i can rub and press and try, nothing works (i hope this makes sense, it is kinda hard to describe...)

I bough the most beautiful bronze eyeliner pencil from Bourjois. It's brilliant for blue eyes!

^ You have more makeup than anybody I know, The Ida. ;)

^I don't, really... It's actually my only eyeliner pencil  I think it's my 2nd eyeliner pencil ever, I've always had problems with them because my eyes are super watery.

I've always used pencil. Trying liquid at the moment and its difficult!

Any tips appreciated :flower:

^ I really like the gel liners... they work best for me.

I like gel liners too. When I used pencils they always got ruined when it came to sharpening time (the actual stick of liner would snap inside the pencil). No matter how carefully I did it, it always broke. So I switched to gel and it's wonderful.

Does anyone know a brand that makes gel eyeliner in any other colours apart from the usual blacks, browns and blues? I know I've seen greens and purples somewhere, but not in gel form.

Shu Uemura's painting liner comes in a purple and a green and other colours too - I also heard they are very good quality.

I like Urban Decay Ink for Eyes. They have a deep green and an eggplant purple. I like the purple which is Empire. The packaging is really nice and it comes with a brush. They have a clear glittery shade called Pyrotechnics too.

Makeup Forever has an Aqua cream liner that is waterproof---there is a turquoise, a green and a purple. Sephora carries that brand.

Stila has a cobalt, jade, grey and kitten.

Bobbi Brown do lots of colours. I especially like Violet Ink and Black Mauve Shimmer Ink.

I have a really stupid question.
i want to wear eyeliner on my top lash line, but I just cannot for the life of me get it right and close enough to my lashes. It always looks close when I close my eye, but when I open my eyes it looks like there is a gap between the eyeliner and the lash line.

My lashes are naturally very curly and it's as if they are in the way when applying eyeliner. They curl up and they're right by where I need to apply eyeliner, so I'm always getting lashes stuck between my skin and the eyeliner pencil!

Any tips?

^ Go to page 24 and take a look at the video Ida posted. I found it very helpful and it works wonderfully for me.

I got my first liquid eyeliner the other week by YSL and I cannot for the life of me get the line straight! Always ends up wonky and a mile away from my lash line! Need to practice practice practice!

Do lots of little strokes rather than one long one. Thats what works for me.
